Shreya Sridrahan

Editor

Shreya studied Economics at the University of Warwick. She was an Editor at Reinvention from November 2021 to October 2022, after working as as an Assistant Editor for a year. Beyond her interest in academic research within her own field, she is also interested in history and literature. She values interdisciplinary knowledge, especially in an international environment, and she joined Reinvention Journal both to gain experience in academic publishing and to expose herself to a wider range of interdisciplinary topics. She enjoyed working with authors from different disciplines and backgrounds and through her work as an editor, she strived to provide a platform for different voices and perspectives.

Auni Siukosaari

November 2020 - October 2021

Auni completed her Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) degree at the University of Warwick in 2021. Auni stepped into the role of Editor in 2020-2021 after completing a term as Assistant Editor in 2019-2020. She was interested in both her degree as well as Reinvention because of their interdisciplinary nature. Throughout her academic career she has been working in interdisciplinary and international settings and therefore found herself aligned with Reinvention's mission. Through her work as an assistant editor and editor for 2021, she encouraged undergraduate involvement in the academic realm and aimed to bridge gaps between different disciplines. Her personal research interests are broad and vary from behavioural economics to international relations, but she enjoyed working with authors from various backgrounds and disciplines.

Polina Zelmanova

November 2019 - October 2020

Polina completed her Film Studies BA at the University of Warwick in 2020. She is interested in interdisciplinary arts on both a production and academic level, particularly avant-garde and experimental practices, as well as representations of gender and sexuality on screen. By becoming a part of the Reinvention team, she was given a great opportunity to work with and exchange views with people from different disciplines, broadening her approach to academic research.

Hannah Duffus

November 2018 - October 2019

Hannah completed in her fourth year of a Bachelor of Arts (History) and Diploma of Spanish and Latin American Studies at Monash University. She joined the Reinvention team as an Assistant Editor in 2018. As Lead Editor, Hannah aims to promote interdisciplinary collaboration and equitable access to the research profiled in Reinvention. While her own research interests remain broad, she particularly enjoys writing feminist and women’s histories.

Peter Halat

November 2017 - October 2018

Peter completed his final year in a Science Advanced - Research degree with majors in physics and chemistry. As an avid supporter of undergraduate research, Peter has undertaken multiple research projects and presented research at ICUR 2015, 2016 and 2017. Aspiring to be a researcher, Peter is seeking experience in all parts of academia, including the publication of peer reviewed journals, bringing him to the Reinvention team, where he hopes to learn about areas outside of his studies.

James Young

November 2016 - October 2017

James completed his final year of a BA History degree at the University of Warwick in 2017. After partaking in Warwick's URSS programme in 2015, he recognised both the contribution that undergraduate research can have in all subjects and that university institutions have a responsibility to actively fund and encourage undergraduates to undertake independent research. James' research interests lie in religious and gender history and he will be doing his final year dissertation on English perceptions of Islamic masculinity during the Elizabethan era.

Joe Grimwade

December 2015 - October 2016

Joe has graduated with a first class honours degree in Classical Civilisation from the University of Warwick and is now studying for a masters degree at the University of Cambridge. He was an active member of Warwick's Classics department, performing in their annual production, and has written several articles for the departmental website. He believes firmly that undergraduate research should be suported: as a funded undergraduate researcher in 2014, his interests lie in the Art of Memory in the ancient world.

Tim Ziegler

July 2014 - November 2015

Tim is a current Monash University undergraduate and 2014 Dean's List Fellow, studying a Bachelor of Science in geoscience and biology. He volunteers as a fossil preparator at Melbourne Museum, and works for the School of Biology facilitating PASS undergraduate study sessions. He has previously completed a Bachelor of Arts (Journalism) at Monash University. He is an experienced copyeditor, with interests in palaeontology, natural history, science literacy and open access publishing. He has lived, studied and worked in Australia, Indonesia, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Justine Vincin

August 2013 - June 2014

Justine completed a Bachelor of Arts in History and Asian Studies at Monash University in 2012 before undertaking her Honours, or dissertation, year. Justine is particularly interested in interactions between European and Asian powers in the early modern period, and her thesis focused on diplomatic practices of the Portuguese empire in Asia during the late-seventeenth century. Justine will continue to pursue this topic in her postgraduate studies in Global History. She returned to studies as a mature-aged student after a few years of working as an English language teacher and teacher trainer and enjoys transferring her passion for adult education to her tutoring in History.

Jure Jeric

August 2012 - July 2013

Jure Jeric graduated with a first class honours degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economic from the University of Warwick. Jure was awarded the Outstanding Student Contribution Award and the Philippa Sherrington Award for Academic Excellence.

Naomi Falkenburg

July 2011 - July 2012

Naomi studied for a degree in Politics and International Studies (PAIS) at the University of Warwick and, having left the University, took a year out before beginning a Masters at Oxford University. She has broad academic interests, including critical theory in world politics and international political economy, social cleavages (particularly gender, class, and race), and the politics of language, education, religion, and non-proliferation.

Alexander Freer

November 2009 - July 2011

Alex graduated with a first class honours degree in English literature from the University of Warwick in 2011. He went on to study for an MPhil in Romanticism and Eighteenth Century literature at Christ's college, Cambridge and is now undertaking a PhD on Wordsworth. His research interests are in Romanticism and religion, psychoanalysis and phenomenological criticism, and he continues to take a keen interest in undergraduate education and research.

Dr David Metcalfe

September 2007 - October 2009 (Founding Editor)

David graduated with a first class honours degree in Biological Sciences with Molecular Genetics from the University of Warwick in 2006 and a medical degree (MB ChB) in 2010. He also has a law degree from The Open University. He worked as a junior doctor in London and is now an Academic Clinical Fellow in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. David worked with the Reinvention Centre for Undergraduate Research to develop and launch this journal in September 2007 and remained a key member of the team until his graduation in 2010. He maintains a broad interest in staff/student collaboration and the potential of research to enhance the undergraduate experience. He remains involved as Editor Emeritus of Reinvention: A Journal of Undergraduate Research.

Karan Khagram

Assistant Editor

Karan studied Economics Student at the University of Warwick. He joined the team as an Assistant Editor with a strong vision to increase the accessibility that students have to undergraduate research. He also strived to support his fellow undergraduate students in the process of publishing their research. He views interdisciplinary research as a key driver in synthesising new ideas, understanding the interactions of multiple academic fields and provoking discussions in the research community. He enjoyed engaging with undergraduate researchers and providing them with a platform to share their thoughts and findings.

Yogen Mudgal

Assistant Editor

Yogen studied Accounting and Finance at the University of Warwick. He was motivated by his own research experience to join Reinvention and strived to support fellow undergraduates in publishing and promoting their research. He views interdisciplinarity and research as integral elements of the academic experience and key to building the skills of the 21st century. As an assistant editor, he strived to support undergraduates making valuable contributions in the big questions and debates across disciplines.

Adam Khan Qureshi

Adam studied Biochemistry at undergraduate level at the University of Warwick. His professional interests are in the cellular mechanics behind immune responses and how defects in proteins generate disease. He strongly believes that in our evolving society, interdisciplinary research is crucial towards discovering new and innovate treatments, models and theories. In his role as Assistant Editor he enjoyed working with students from various disciplines to spark discussion amongst the research community. 

Steph Daborn

Stephanie Daborn studied to be a Bachelor of Science and Arts at Monash University. She majored in geography in both degrees and was particularly interested in human/environment interactions and building urban resilience to climate change. Stephanie was an supporter of undergraduate research and giving students a platform to share their knowledge and passions. As such, she was also involved with the International Conference of Undergraduate Research and the associated Compass mentoring program since 2018 and was thrilled to be a part of the Reinvention team in 2020. 

Mark Ranasinghe

During his term with Reinvention Mark was a medical (MD) student at Monash University with a particular interest in heart disease, anaesthetics and obstetrics. As Book Reviews Editor, he enjoyed reading and believed that it can be one of the most rewarding and enjoyable things we can do in our spare time. 

Millie Jacoby

During her term with Reinvention Millie focussed on marketing and digital communciations. Millie studied French and Hispanic Studies at the University of Warwick. As a student with an interest in academic research but who is also experienced in social media promotion and advertising, the job of Marketing Assistant for the journal was a perfect fit. When not running the social media pages and writing online posts for the journal, she enjoyed researching Jewish representation in French literature.

Kiera Taylor

During her term with Reinvention Kiera was at Monash University undertaking a BA majoring in Anthropology and minoring in Behavioural Studies. She had previously worked as a magazine Journalist and Sub-editor and joined Reinvention Journal as an Assistant Editor to gain experience in academic publishing. In addition to a love of other cultures and cultural practices, Kiera’s professional interests were in the effect of social and political structures on individual physical and mental health. She believed that we can all learn a lot through studying and learning about different cultures and practices, which can be used to improve our own lives.

Mary Dass

Mary was studying for her Bachelor of Secondary Education (Honours) and Bachelor of Science at Monash University while on the editorial board of Reinvention. She had actively participated in a range of events held by The Centre for Undergraduate Research Initiatives and Excellence (CURIE), including The International Conference of Undergraduate Research (ICUR) where she presented her research on “The Effect of Vitamin D on Multiple Sclerosis”. This gave her an extraordinary platform to work with students alongside building her passion for research. As an Assistant Editor, she enjoyed assisting students with their respective academic research, through making it accessible to the wider research community whilst also displaying its significance.

Michael Walton

Michael Walton was studying a BA in literature and archaeology and a BSc in physics at Monash University while working with Reinvention. They were interested in queer, feminist and gothic literature as well as fiction as a form of critical inquiry. They saw interdisciplinarity as key to generating novel ways of reading and researching and cultivated this in their capacity as an Assistant Editor.

Connie Slater

Connie Slater completed her degree in English Literature from the University of Warwick in 2020. Having been Reinvention's 'Book Reviews Editor' for 2 years, in 2019 she became an Assistant Editor for the undergraduate journal. Following her studies, Connie would like to return to France, following on from her year abroad there. She finds that the multi-cultural influences of Reinvention support the development of a global community of Undergraduate writers and is excited to see what the new issues will bring. Connie stepped down from the board in April 2020. 

Sarsha Crawley

Sarsha completed her Commerce and Arts degree at Monash University with majors in Economics, International Studies and Psychology. She also completed a study abroad year at the University of Warwick and presented research at the British Conference of Undergraduate Research. Sarsha is passionate about interdisciplinary research, with a keen interest in academic intersections that contribute to sustainable development.

Tiana Mahncke

Tiana was a Bachelor of Science (Geographical Science) and Global Studies student with a keen interest in the intersection between environmental degradation, social disadvantage, and human health. In 2017, she presented a research project on student-led development at the International Conference of Undergraduate Research. Leveraging the skills gained through ICUR, she was then selected as a Monash delegate to present at the 2018 International Conference for Sustainable Development in New York City. Whilst serving as an Assistant Editor, Tiana will be completing an exchange semester at King’s College London, followed by a final semester at Monash University, and a public health study tour in Indonesia.

Raphael Morris

Raphael Morris completed two bachelor’s degrees in philosophy and pure mathematics, and an honours degree at Monash University. He wrote his thesis on the philosophy of fiction, a subject on which he has presented at the III Blasco Disputatio: Singular terms in fiction conference in Spain and the Once upon a time: Semantic approaches to fiction, literature, and narrative conference in the Netherlands. Raphael is excited to join the Reinvention team in 2019, and enjoyed helping other students in their first forays into the world of research.

Madeleine Clark

Madeleine studied for a Diploma of International Relations while working with Reinvention. In 2018 she earned First Class Honours in Philosophy, having completed a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Art History. She was passionate about interdisciplinary research, and hopes to pursue a research career across multiple areas. While studying, Madeleine presented numerous times at the International Conference of Undergraduate Research (ICUR), and acted as a COMPASS mentor for two years. Her interests included the philosophy of aesthetics, feminist and outsider art history, political philosophy, and conflict studies.

Kia Yee Ang

Kia Yee was a Singapore Chinese undergraduate of the University of Warwick. She completed her BA English Literature and Creative Writing degree. Her interests included ecocriticism, madness, Asian diasporas and identities, gender studies, psychoanalysis, performance studies (in particular the mundane as spectacle, the body as a site for revolt), and the philosophical implications of quantum mechanics. She was deeply passionate about finding purpose and fulfilment, and hopes that she will help nurture curious minds as an Assistant Editor of this journal.

Alex Verge

Alex completed his undergraduate degree in History student at the University of Warwick. Of particular interest to him is global history as well as the history of ideas. He spent the first term of his final year studying in Venice the history of Renaissance Venice and Florence. After looking at some past issues of Reinvention he became keen to participate in the publication of high-quality undergraduate research. Further attraction lay in the possibility presented by working for Reinvention of connecting with students across the globe.

Hannah Duffus

Hannah is the 2018 - 2019 Editor of Reinvention. Whilst working as an Assistant Editor Hannah studied for her Bachelor of Arts (History and Human Rights) and Diploma of Spanish and Latin American Studies at Monash University. In 2018 she shared her time between the University of Liverpool, where she was an exchange student, and her home in Melbourne. Hannah is passionate about bringing undergraduate students across the world into closer dialogue with one another and academics in their fields. While her own research interests remain broad, she particularly enjoys writing feminist and women’s histories.

Daniel Riccardo

Daniel gradauted as a Bachelor of Science, pursuing an extended major in Geosciences. His broad research interests included planetary geology and understanding the biogeochemical origins of life on Earth, and the potential to find evidence of life on other terrestrial planets, like Mars. In addition to his role at Reinvention, Daniel was also the science team leader for the Nova Rover team, constructing the next generation of Mars rovers to compete at the University Rover Challenge, an international competition held annually at the Mars desert research station in Utah. If successful, they will be Australia’s first team to compete.

Gianna Lenzi

Gianna was an Honours candidate at Monash University in the field of Medieval European History. She completed a Bachelor of Arts at Monash in 2017 with a major in History and a double minor in German and Italian. Gianna has participated in the Global Leadership and Advanced Research Program at Monash where she was granted funding for research and as an MC during the International Conference of Undergraduate Research. During her time with Reinventin she is expanded her interests in interdisciplinary research.

Sofia Cabral

Sofia studied Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in History at Monash University and was involved in legal research projects. Having been part of the Global Leadership and Advanced Research Program at Monash and participating as an MC for ICUR in 2017, Sofia developed a keen interest in research. She used the time on Reinvention to expand her experience of interdisciplinary research.

Vardaan Aggarwal

Vardaan graduated in Economics, Politics and International Studies at the University of Warwick in 2018. He had a strong interest in anti-opression resistance movements, queer theory and queer history. In addition to his Reinvention role and undergraduate studies he was the Politics and Economics editor at the Warwick Globalist.

Eleanor Webb

Eleanor read History at the University of Warwick. She is particularly interested in early modern religious history and will spend her final year studying in Venice in order to specialise in this research area. Eleanor believes that undergraduates have unique and fresh perspectives to contribute to their field and is therefore committed to promoting and enhancing opportunities available for the development and publication of undergraduate research. She's thrilled to be working as part of the Reinvention Journal and with talented fellow undergraduates from around the world as they pursue their research interests.

Chris Wells

Chris completed his 4th year of a Physics MPhys degree at the University of Warwick in 2017. He is interested in meteorology and atmospheric physics, with regards to climate change. He has undertaken several undergraduate research placements in different areas, which has given him an appreciation for how important research experience can be and how undergraduates can contribute to their field in a meaningful way.

Matthew Peacock

Matthew is completing a Physics MPhys Integrated Masters (4 year course) at the University of Warwick. While undertaking a research project into moddelling the behaviour of swarming animals, he was overjoyed at the number of research papers on the subject available for free public access, originating from all over the world. Matthew takes an interest in journals from both Science and Humanities and sought to become a member of Reinvention to share in the process of spreading niche knowledge and origional research internationally.

Matthew Topp

Matt is currently an Honours candidate at Monash University in the field of Medieval and Renaissance European History. He completed a Bachelor of Arts at Monash in 2015, with a double major in Archaeology and History and his current thesis looks at the cultural history of memory in fifteenth-century Florence, through the commonplace book of the merchant Giovanni Rucellai. During his time with Reinvention, Matt looks forward to learning many new things from talented undergraduate researchers involved with the journal, from all over the world and in a wide variety of disciplines.

Bernard Keo

Bernard graduated from Monash University with a first class honours degree in History and is now continuing with a masters degree at Monash. His research focuses on Malaysia's post-World War II history, particularly the processes of decolonisation and the path towards independence within the framework of secession attempts by the state of Penang. From his time with Reinvention and the International Conference of Undergraduate Research (ICUR), he thoroughly believes in the value of undergraduate research and hopes to see more undergraduates undertaking research projects.

Alexis Tan

Alexis is an Economics student at Monash University. She is particularly interested in development economics, especially on issues facing sex workers in developing countries. Before joining the Editorial Team at Reinvention, Alexis was part of the planning team for the International Conference of Undergraduate Research (ICUR) 2015.

Jana Elly Howden

Jana studyed a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science at Monash University. Her areas of interest include history, genetics and molecular biology. She has interned as a research assistant in a systems biology lab focusing on non-coding RNA, and volunteers for the Western Port Seagrass Partnership planting mangroves to rehabilitate local coastlines. Jana believes that undergraduate research affords individuals a unique opportunity to combine contrasting fields of study in order to create new and interesting perspectives.

Laura Maria Riccardi

Laura is writing an Honours thesis in History at Monash University. Her particular interests lie in subaltern and working class histories. Her thesis investigates the experience of early Italian migrants to the United States within the workforce. In 2015, she was a Student Director for the International Conference of Undergraduate Research and she is an active member of the education campaign against fee deregulation.

Ben McClatchie

Ben graduated from the University of Warwick in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Politics. His preferred area of study is Africa in the late and post-colonial era. Specifically, he is interested in the emergence within the literature of the African voice; which has acted as a counterweight to conventional narratives by highlighting the agency of native people.

David Bernard

David graduated from the University of Warwick in 2016 with a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. Over the summer he will be working as a research analyst for the charity Giving What We Can, where he will be researching the cost effectiveness of different charities and programmes working on global poverty alleviation. He hopes to move into the international development sector and work on evaluating the impacts of different national health and education policies.

Taarika Bangalore

Taarika is in her third year of the Bachelor of Environmental Engineering at Monash University. She has particular interests in sustainable architecture and building design, along with alternative renewable energy technologies. She is the current Female Engineers at Monash (FEM) industry representative, is undertaking the Leadership In a Technological Environment (LITE) program and is a mentor in the Engineering Mentor Scheme (EMS). Taarika has studied and lived in the US, Singapore and India. She is interested in the promotion of undergraduate research to engineering students, particularly in the renewable energy technology sector.

Joshua Marlow

Josh is a third year student at Monash University studying Advanced Science (with Honours). He is the current president of the Monash Advanced Science and Science Scholars Students society (MASS3) and is undertaking his second undergraduate research project in the School of Chemistry. His interests include all realms of Chemistry and is working towards a double major in the area. In particular Josh has a wish to both learn and spread scientific communication, and to this end he has mentored in extra-curricular activities such as the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) and CanSat programmes.

Kirsten Carlaw

Kirsten is currently in her second year of the Bachelor of Biomedical Science/ Bachelor of Laws double degree at Monash University. She is particularly interested in medical ethics and the controversy and policies surrounding such issues. Kirsten is very excited to be a part of this journal and feels honoured to help publish the creative ideas and research of undergraduate students on an international plane.

Solene van der Wielen

Solene is a current University of Warwick undergraduate student studying a Bachelor of Arts in Modern History. She is particularly interested in interdisciplinary studies and different approaches to migrant identity and multiculturalism. She is currently a research assistant on the 'Religion, Rights, and Social Justice' theme under the Global Research Priority of 'Connecting Cultures'. She has lived in the United States, France, and the United Kingdom.

Hayley Simon

Book Reviews Editor

Hayley is in her fourth year studying Chemistry at the University of Warwick. She has written articles for several popular publications, including the magazine Chemistry World and Biomedical Picture of the Day (BPoD). As a librarian, Hayley has an inherent love of all books, fiction and non-fiction. She particularly enjoys interdisciplinary research and for her final year project, Hayley will be investigating the folding of proteins using Mass Spectrometry.

Jennifer Entwisle

Jenny is a final year Medical student at the University of Warwick. She has had an academic interest in the laboratory based study of PPE genes in Mycobacterium Tuberculosis, exploring antigenic variation. She has pursued this interest during her elective in South India, at the National Institute of Research in Tuberculosis in India studying children with TB-HIV coinfections. The systematic reviews she undertook for her summer project in 2013, exploring social care interventions in the emergency department and defining re-attendance in the emergency department, are being presented at the International Conference of Emergency Medicine in Hong Kong in June 2014. She is soon to undertake another URSS-funded project, doing a systematic review on defining reattendance in the Emergency Department and is one of the two student directors for the International Conference for Undergraduate Research (ICUR) 2014.

Georgia O'Connor

Georgia graduated from Monash University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts, First Class Honours in History. Her thesis focused on the seventeenth century English East India Company factory in Japan. Georgia will continue her research into this historical episode through a Master of Studies in Global and Imperial History at the University of Oxford. She will do so with the assistance of the inaugural Brasenose College Oxford-Australia Scholarship. Georgia believes undergraduate research has the potential to contribute significantly to academia, and is also greatly beneficial to the researcher’s own academic development.

Md. Roysul Islam

Roysul is in his honours year of study, starting his research career with Melbourne Museum and Monash University. His main academic interests are in the fields of biology and geosciences, with particular focus in palaeobiology, animal behaviour, evolution and taxonomy. Roysul has completed one summer research project with the school of biological sciences at Monash and another summer vacation program with the federal Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) at Canberra. These experiences along with science mentoring and ambassadorial roles with the Faculty of Science, have allowed Roysul to encourage his peers for future scientific research. In addition to dealing with scientific questions, he also likes to explore the realms of poetry and philosophy. He has published poems with the Monash Student Association’s official magazine ‘Lot’s Wife’ since 2012.

John Watkins

John graduated in Biological Chemistry from the University of Warwick in 2010 and is now in his fourth and final year studying Medicine at Warwick Medical School. During his time at the University, he has completed two undergraduate research summer projects, presented research both nationally and internationally, and published his work twice in the academic literature as an undergraduate. As a result of his experiences at Warwick, he has a keen interest in promoting student-led collaborative research with academic staff across the University.

Emma Jacobs

Emma is studying for a degree in English Literature at the University of Warwick. She is currently in her fourth and final year, having returned from a year studying abroad in the USA at the University of California, Berkeley. Her particular interests are in contemporary and modern American literature.

James Hamp

James graduated with first class honours in Physics from Warwick in 2013, graduating top of his year and winning the Styles Prize for Excellence. His joint work on spontaneous rotating vortex arrays in microcavity exciton-polariton optical parametric oscillator superfluids won the departmental Prize for Excellence in the MPhys project. He is now studying for a PhD in Theoretical Physics at Cambridge.

Megan Roberts

Megan is studying for a degree in Law at the University of Warwick. Through her studies in Law she understands the value that critical reflection from academics can provide and is therefore very excited that undergraduates are beginning to take the plunge into the world of research. Her particular academic interests include Elizabethan law and its influence on Shakespeare's writings, the sphere of jurisprudence relating to punishment theory and the relation between Law and Economics. Megan worked with the journal team in 2012/13 before leaving to focus on her studies.

Alex Marsden

Alex graduated from the University of Warwick in 2011 with a first class honours degree in Physics, and returned to Warwick to study a PhD in microscopy, specifically looking at novel 2D materials. He had a significant exposure to undergraduate research at Warwick, completing three summer projects and being an Assistant Editor for Reinvention for 3 years. He continues to promote undergraduate research in the Physics department by working closely with students during their projects.

Alison Wheatley

Alison graduated from the University of Warwick with a first class honours degree in Sociology in 2010 and an MA Social Research with distinction in 2011. She went on to study for a PhD in Science and Technology Studies at the University of Edinburgh, with funding from the ESRC Innogen Centre. Her research focuses on the sperm donation industry in Denmark.

David Hall

David studied an integrated masters degree in Physics at the University of Warwick and hopes to continue his career in research by studying for a PhD in experimental particle physics. He gradauted from the University (and the journal team!) in the summer of 2010.

David had his first encounter with undergraduate research when he completed a Warwick URSS summer project, funded by an EPSRC vacation scholarship. Ruth Simons

Ruth studied Fine Arts at Oxford Brookes University. She was the recipient of an Oxford Brookes URSS award from the Reinvention Centre for a project within the specialised field of ‘Contemporary Art and Biological Studies’. Ruth worked with the journal team on Volume 2, Issue 2 of the journal before becoming a Subject Editor because she needed to focus more time on her research.
