Professor Fatme Al Anouti is the Assistant Dean of Research and Outreach at the College of Natural and Health Sciences at Zayed University. She had been involved in Undergraduate Research at Zayed University since 2010 as a Co-Founder of the program and Coordinator at the Abu Dhabi Campus. With more than 30 years of experience in higher education across North America, and the MENA region, Fatme has focused throughout her career on capacity building mentorship to train undergraduate students become research assistants and pursue graduate studies. She holds doctoral and post-graduate degrees in Medical and Health Sciences and was acknowledged by the UNESCO for facilitating cultural excursions and engaging students in hands on experience and problem solving through multiplier projects and by the UAE Ministry of Education for facilitating study abroad practicum programs in collaboration with several internationally leading universities. Fatme is actively involved in international undergraduate research networks, including the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR), British Conference of Undergraduate Research (BCUR) and International Conference of Undergraduate Research (ICUR), organized by IATL, University of Warwick with international partner institutions including Zayed University.
